Let's be real, romance movies are some of my favourite movies to watch. They're just so relaxing and funny for when you just want to wind down, and also heartfelt and emotional when you want something impactful. So I thought, in honour of Valentine's day just passing yesterday, I'd share some of my favourite romance movies for you romance movie junkies.

  1. My Best Friend's Wedding

This is not your typical romcom, in case you haven't already watched it, but it is hilarious, amazing, and personally, my favourite romantic movie that I've ever seen. With a swoony storyline, heartbreak, love, and all the complicated emotions that come with it, it is a classic, and for good reason. So please, if you have not already seen Julia Roberts shine in this film, do yourself a favour and watch it now!!

2. Titanic

Godddddddddd, I don't think that I can say enough good things about Titanic, the absolute masterpiece. I'm sure all of you have watched it, or at least heard of Jack and Rose and their tragic, yet beautiful love story. It truly is a classic, and deserving of all the praise that it receives. (Also, young Leo is just so good-looking, don't you agree?) If you SOMEHOW FOR SOME REASON have not seen this movie yet, first of all, ARE YOU LIVING UNDER A ROCK? But seriously, watch it if you haven't. It's truly amazing.

3. Call Me By Your Name

Now, this movie is something special, let me tell you right now. I read the book before I watched the movie, but personally, I believe that the movie actually hit me deeper than the book did. It just so beautifully produced and acted, it will make you feel things you never thought you could feel. While it is romance, it's not your typical romcom either. This movie deals with so many wonderful topics, such as sexuality and identity. Armie Hammer and Timothee Chalamet portray these characters so intricately and with so much love and affection, there is no way it won't make an impact on your heart. If there is one recommendation you take off of this list, this movie is the one!

As always, thank you guys so much for reading my posts. It does mean a lot to me! In the comments down below, tell me your favourite romantic movie, whether it be a romcom or more on the serious side. I hope everyone had a great Valentine's day!

(Wow, my BTS obsession really coming through with this post.)

P.S. In the comments below, also tell me your favourite BTS song! I would love to know!
