Everyone is struggling to get through these hard times. The most important thing to know is that you are not alone, and that we are all in this together. If you find yourself struggling to keep up with the information and suggestions that will keep you safe, then you can implement into your day to day life that will help keep you and the people around you safe and healthy during these trying times.
Wear a Mask
Wearing a mask in public, and when you are surrounded by other people can greatly prevent the spread of Covid-19. Simply put, by wearing a mask over your nose and mouth, you can prevent the drops of your saliva - which may contain Covid-19 virus - from reaching others. If everyone bands together and wears a mask in public, the fast and increasing spread of Covid-19 can be slowed down, and we will be able to save about 130,000 lives.

Maintain Social Distance
We all know that social distancing from friends and family may be challenging, especially in a time of unrest and uncertainty. However, just know that by doing this, we are slowing the spread of Covid-19 for the goal of one day being able to connect with our loved ones face to face again. If people try to keep to themselves, and limit social gatherings, the amount of people that Covid-19 is being spread to would be increasingly lower. This way, we will be protecting those who are the most vulnerable, such as elders and people with health problems, from high risk situations.

Wash Your Hands Often
Washing your hands is one of the most effective ways of protecting yourself and the people around you from catching Covid-19. By washing your hands frequently, you will be getting rid of the germs that you come across when you touch things in your day to day life. In order to effectively wash your hands, be sure to wet your hands with warm water, apply soap, wash your hands under warm water for at least 20 seconds (including your palms, back of each hand, between fingers, thumbs, and under nails), rinse well, dry off your hands with disposable material, and use that disposable material to close the tap.

Avoid Touching Your Face With Your Hands
Touching your face is one of the fastest ways you can spread Covid-19. Your respiratory system can be infected by many bacteria and viruses, including the ones that cause Covid-19. When you touch your face, the germs on your hands can take up residence in your mucous membranes and cause infections.
Stay Home if You are Feeling Unwell
If you are feeling unwell, the best thing you can do is to stay home. The fewer people that you are around, the lower your chance of infection or spreading germs to anyone else is. Do not go to crowded places, and have a stock of supplies ready in your home in case you ever need to isolate for an extended period of time. However, if you must go outside, make sure you follow proper community guidelines in order to best protect everyone around you.
